So, um… yeah.

I mean, I get it. A teen comedy riff with an Ocean’s 11 excuse.

Sure, they’ve admitted they are creatively bereft and not interested in some thoughtful science fiction at the end of a phaser, and are whiffing the easiest premise in the world in favor of taking a trip through genre. I mean, this is a first-year screenwriting student assignment; yeah, familiar characters transplanted into new situations.

I mean, I get it. But if Hangover-type flicks are a genre on their own, you know what else is its own genre, now? Star Trek.

Do an episode of one of those.
